General Guidelines

  • Learning, co-operation, and fun are professed but respectful and appropriate behaviour are expected of the players
  • Parity (equally-balanced) teams is attempted during games, but cannot be guaranteed at all times
  • No published scores and/or standings as recommended by Canadian Soccer Association’s LTPD guidelines
  • Parents U7 & older stay off the field of play; Parents U5 always with child/player on field of play (with appropriate footwear)
  • Parents/guardians cheer, but do not provide technical/tactical information (nor interact with the referee, if applicable)

Dome Guidelines

  • Please Do NOT play (with or without a ball) or run around the outside perimeter of the turf (please only spectate)
  • Only arrive approximately 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled field time (remain on the sidelines until called in)
  • Please Do NOT touch any storage bins in the Dome
  • After your session is complete, please ensure players (children) leave the field so staff can set up for the next group
  • Only drink permitted is water

Game & Practice Guidelines

  • Rotation of players in various positions, including goalkeeper (U9 & older) Equitable playing time for all
  • Primary focus is on skill development, learning, and fun (the process) -- not winning or the final score (the result is secondary)
  • Practice Dress code:  NDSC Jersey, black shorts & socks that cover mandatory shin pads, proper footwear, no jewelry
  • Game Dress code:  coloured jersey for U9, U11, U13 (U7 always in navy shirt)

Weekly Schedule

  • 1 Practice Session (Monday/Wednesday/Friday), led by NDSC Staff with assistance from Team Volunteer Coaches (U7 to U13)
  • 1 Game (Saturday - U7 to U13) with Game Leader or Match Official 
  • U5 Activities Only
  • U15, U17 Games Only (one session per week)

Please Note: Indoor Begins the week of November 18th and runs until the end of March/first week of April

Other Important Information

Role of the Staff/Lead Coaches:

  • To increase the development and skill level of players by delivering an age/skill-level appropriate curriculum

Handling Concerns, Issues, Questions

  • First point of contact is the field/team coach, then the office administrator
  • Ensure your respective field/team coach is aware of any medical issues/conditions for your child (e.g. injuries)
  • Please contact the club if you would like to volunteer / assist the coaching staff

Please Note: Due to increased program costs of indoor soccer do to facility rental and length of program   You  will be able to choose between one full payment or two installment payments to assist with cost.

Partial payment is required upon registration with 2nd installment available for payment in January.
